To Believe or Not to Believe

To Believe God
When no one else gets it
When it means risking everything
When it means you're in mid air with nothing to catch you if you fall
When it hurts and is scarry
When it doesn't make sense

But what if I don't Believe God
I won't get Him or my promised land
I won't have anything of worth
I won't know my Daddy's power to come out of nowhere to catch me
I won't know His comfort & affirmation nor will I know courage
I won't know my God & His ways that are not like the worlds

So...I will Believe God

Dearest Pam,

Before your guidance and Sunday School class, I was lost... I didnt know how to seek God. I don't know if I believed in Him, I don't know what I expected... Then a wonderful thing happened. I married a Christian man... he led me to the Baptist Church and in that coming back home to El Paso I found my own baptist church... I felt like an outsider... I felt alone... I asked Christina in the church office about joining the church. She told me about your Sunday School class and that's when it started... I remember walking into Sunday school and you were on your knees and everyones head was bowed... You were praying... I remember you talking about how we could run to our Daddy... how we could talk to Him... How in Gods eyes we were all his little girls... Daddy's Girls... What you preached that day and in Sunday classes that followed touched my heart... you gave me the strength to find God, find myself, believe in God and be baptized as an obedience to the Lord and it has since changed my life... I love living for the Lord... I will never forget you and the impact you had in my life... Thank you so much. All my love to you and Jon... my prayers are with you both, always!!

Milissa,
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and for your prayers. God used you in my life to confimr and affirm me. You have in your midst a wonderful group of ladies, learn from them. God wants to love you and as Phillipians 2:13-16 tells us, He wants you to shine like the star He created you to be. Shine for Him!

Lisa,
Thank you for the web site and sharing this with me. I shared in SS class about God calling us to run and jump off the cliff, now I am frozen in mid air and the enemy is just below me saying, look down your going to fall, look down and hear what everyone is saying about you and your husband. BUT the LORD is straight across from me saying fix your eyes on mine and don't look down, DO NOT LOOK DOWN. The story gave me courage to not look down.

I do hope that we can stay in touch this way. The moment I saw you I could see you have a heart for God and the things of God. In your very busy and eventful life keep your zeal for the Lord.

Pamela, Thank you for allowing God to continue to use you to remind us who we are and how we should live. God has used you so much in my life - the time was short, but the lessons and skills I learned from you will last a lifetime. You and Jon will always be a part of my testimony. Thank you.

Pamela,
What's it like to dream again? I look forward to it, not for my benefit, but so they will see and know that the Lord had done great things for us. Yes indeed, He has!

Pamela, Thank you for your prayers. It means so much to know you may be miles away, but we are still on your heart. I'm glad you have the heart of God and are willing to share that with me. I know God will continue to work in your life and use you for His ministry. My prayers are with you as well and I know God will take you closer to your family very soon.
